As part of their performance at the celebration event, the St John Fisher Year 6 class performed "The Woes of Winifred", a silent movie showing the events described in the letter sent by Winifred Burnet to the Sheffield Star in 1915.

Dr Julie Moore from the University of Hertfordshire visited St John Fisher on Thursday 30th June to work with the Year 5 children.
The year 5s discovered a great deal of interesting information about leisure and recreation during WW1. They put together some impressive PowerPoint presentations which they shared with other pupils and visiting parents.
